May 4th, 2010 -- "Flower Alley"

The man in blue jeans, known to some as Breakfast Ted, and known to others as The Tall Drink, stood with his eyes fixed on the flaming barrel. He cut away his necktie and tossed it in. He took out his wallet and money and keys. He placed them in a travel mug and rolled that in. He picked up some dirt and a handful of dandelion from the corner dirt and threw them in as well. He took off his overshirt and cut away the bottoms of his pants. He balled everything up and watched it expand like ashen paper in the blaze.

He looked at the charring madness and was comforted.

Next stop, anywhere.
