Angela stood by the window in the kitchen and checked her sport watch. Four o'clock. She sighed lightly and looked out past the yard. Some sparrows flew quickly from the bushes to the roof of the shed and then back again in a kind of play.She held the glass with ice with both hands and stayed in place for what seemed like an eternity before grabbing her leather purse and car keys from the table and going.
